World Series Chat
I didn't post my World Series hopes/predictions sooner but so far it's following my wishes. I wanted the Phillies to win and they did, rather handily to my surprise. I want the Yankees to beat the hated Angels, then I want the Phillies to win it all. Time will tell, and I'll be watching.

I don't know about that. Being a Dodgers fan, I and a lot of other people were hoping for a Yankees / Dodgers WS. Now that we've been beat by the Phillies, some of us are rooting for anyone BUT the Phillies to win.

"The hated Angels"? Why on earth would you hate the Angels?
We're fans, and we were sorry to see them perform so badly in the ALCS. The Yankees deserved to win that, but only because the Angels were so bad.
Now that it's the Phillies vs. Yankees, we may not bother watching. Who cares, except the east coast die-hards? I'll have more time to read, which is a good thing.
I'm hoping for a seven game World Series, Bob. The New York State economy is trashed. Any extra dinero from an extended series might delay an increase in my property taxes.
All of my predictions were off this year. Good thing I didn't bet.
