I don't ever remember Fred driving this one on the series. maybe I'm misremembering(to borrow a phrase from Roger Clemens).
I think it was in the movie. There's a cast picture in the upper right.
Could a five year old do kits if he can do legos? Do they have kits for kids?
Five may be too young for most kits. There are some simple snap-together models that don't require glue but still might need adult help. A visit to a local hobby shop could show you what's available.
