As every schoolboy worth his salt knows, today (June 25) is the anniversary of Custer's Last Stand, which occurred in 1876. Surrounded in mystery, controversy, and emotion, this is perhaps the most discussed and written-about battle in American history. Certainly the most famous in the Plains Wars of the 19th century.
I also have my semi-annual dental checkup today.

A fine way to commemorate the massacre.
A morning on that battlefield a couple years ago was worth the entire trip to Montana. Thanks, and may all the brushing and flossing pay off.
Thanks. My teeth are in pretty good condition thanks to flouridated water when I was a kid.
I envy you your teeth. Hope to eventually see Montana.
