For some reason huge numbers of lady bugs lived in the space above the hung ceiling in my old office and quite often they'd drop onto my desk. This went on for years. They never caused any problems, but I never could figure out what they were living on.
Incidentally, an inch is (by definition) 25.4 mm, so 3.75 inches is a fair amount less than 110 mm. Don't trust what they print on the box.

A most excellent and colorful bug. I recommend the following tune as its theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTGQWe0dMkE
From a little bit of soap to a little bug. I see a theme developing here.
How do you know it's a she?
We used to have Lady Bugs around here, but with global warming they've more or less disappeared.
It's a LADY bug, Evan. They're all females.

Or I shouldn't trust myself to measure with a ruler held in the air.
OK, I took another measurement and it's around 4 inches, including the feelers.
