T-Town Sites 4


I found these two markers at Chambers Creek Cemetery and thought they were pretty neat. The top one is obviously a trucker. The lower one is either a late railroader or model train enthusiast.

Wow. I don't know what it costs to do those but them came out great.

As for the previous picture, right at the foot of the Verrazano and down the block from Ft. Hamilton Army Garrison(down the road from me half a mile) is John Paul Jones Park. (Incidentally, Robert E. Lee was the post enginerr at Fort Hamilton from 1841 to 1946 and Stonewall Jackson also served there.)

The park is a favorite photo spot for bridal parties but also has a huge cannon and a pile of massive cannonballs.
