Looking for something to read on your Kindle? My first book, Love, Death and the Toyman, is now on Kindle via Amazon and can be downloaded (if that's how it works) for a mere $3.00. Such a deal. Such a chance for me to monetize.

As I type this the Phillies are losing to NY in the fourth game of the World Series. Horrors!

Dang, Cap'n, Jack Lorentz is really going high tech. Maybe you should serialize the book on Twitter, too. One tweet at a time.

At a penny a tweet it could add up. But seriously, even though I have a Twitter account I think the only thing that should tweet is a bird.

The Yanks won the Series in six games, Bob, much to the consternation of Yankee haters. I was hoping they'd milk the media coverage and tourism for another game to goose the tax revenue for almost bankrupt NY State.

If not for the owner and A-Rod I'd have rooted for the Yanks. The Phillies did well, but their first baseman, Howard, really wore the collar in this series. He not only couldn't hit to save his life, he was out of position twice in one game, allowing run-scoring hits to get past him. I turned off game 6 in the fifth inning and will worry about The Base Ball again next April. Sorry about the loss of tax revenue.
